WedBeacon may collect information you submit through Business Check, account registration, support, privacy requests, billing-related workflows, and other product forms. Depending on the interaction, this can include your name, business name, business website or domain, business category and location, email address, account credentials, support messages, request details, and subscription-related information. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by WedBeacon.
WedBeacon works with publicly available business information to provide wedding discovery intelligence. This can include business identity, websites, public contact details, service and location information, public website content, structured data, observable search and AI recommendation results, competitor information, and evidence needed to explain a measurement. WedBeacon records source and provenance context where the product requires it.
WedBeacon uses information to provide Business Checks and Discovery Snapshots, operate subscriber accounts, measure search and AI discoverability, generate evidence-backed recommendations, maintain product security and reliability, process subscriptions, respond to support and privacy requests, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve WedBeacon services. Public prospect information may also be used for limited controlled business outreach subject to WedBeacon suppression and unsubscribe controls.
WedBeacon uses Matomo for optional analytics on public website pages, including Discovery Snapshot reports. Analytics does not begin until you allow it through the privacy controls. Discovery Snapshot analytics uses a sanitized report URL and generic title; secure report tokens are not intentionally sent to Matomo, and automatic Matomo link tracking is disabled on those reports. WedBeacon does not intentionally send names, email addresses, business-check form contents, support or privacy-request messages, or unsubscribe tokens to Matomo. Your analytics choice is stored in your browser and can be changed or withdrawn at any time through Privacy Preferences in the site footer.
WedBeacon uses service providers to operate the product, including hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, location and business-data services, security services, and AI providers used to perform requested or authorized analysis. These providers process information for the services they supply to WedBeacon and are not authorized by WedBeacon to use it for unrelated purposes.
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. WedBeacon receives billing identifiers, subscription status, plan information, billing-cycle information, and related payment-event status needed to operate account access and entitlements. WedBeacon does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.
WedBeacon may send limited business-to-business outreach to suitable wedding businesses using public business contact information. Outreach is subject to customer exclusions, suppression rules, unsubscribe controls, delivery safeguards, and other compliance checks. An unsubscribe request is retained as necessary to prevent future outreach to the suppressed recipient, business, or domain as applicable.
WedBeacon retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain product and billing records, preserve evidence and audit history, honor suppression and privacy choices, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by record type. Historical analysis may be retained when needed to explain what evidence supported a prior result, even if current business information is later corrected.
WedBeacon uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No Internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect account credentials and avoid sending passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through support or privacy-request forms.
You may ask WedBeacon to access, correct, delete, or otherwise address personal information associated with you, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. Business owners or authorized representatives may also request corrections to public business information. WedBeacon may need to verify identity, email ownership, or authority to act for a business before completing a request.
WedBeacon is a business service intended for adults and is not directed to children. WedBeacon does not knowingly seek personal information from children through the public website or subscriber service.
WedBeacon may update this Privacy Policy as the service, legal requirements, or data practices change. Material revisions will be reflected by updating the effective or last-updated date and, when appropriate, by providing additional notice.
Privacy questions and requests may be submitted through the Data Request page. WedBeacon's mailing address is 2637 E Atlantic Blvd #1075, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, USA.
